Thoughts about Animal Locomotion

From the beginning of this semester until now, I’d say animating a dog walk cycle is one of the hardest things to do. During the process of animation, I’ve been lost and confused multiple times. However, I found dividing the front part and back part of the dog makes the process easier. Here’s a draft of my dog walk cycle.

Also, I believe working on hard animation exercises in a simple way, such as using clear shapes, makes it easier to understand.
