The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

Recently, I’ve been reading a book called The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. It’s not particularly about animation but it’s about creating art in general and its worst enemy, resistance. Animation has always been intimidating to me and I always find myself holding back, afraid of trying and failing. But this book has made it a bit easier because I now know what pulls me back, and that is resistance in many shapes, ways, and forms.

I would definitely recommend this read to whoever might be feeling the same way. Hopefully, after finishing this book, I would be much more motivated and ready to take on the difficulty of animation.
